NTU Has 9 Subjects Ranked in Top 50 in the QS Subject Ranking 2022.
NTU has 36 subjects ranked in Top 100 in the QS Subject Ranking 2022.
QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), a UK-based company specializing in education, released the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 on April 6. Among the five subject areas, National Taiwan University ranks in the world's Top 100 in Engineering & Technology (51st), Natural Sciences (58th), Social Sciences & Management (61st), Life Sciences & Medicine (72nd), and Arts & Humanities (75th). The QS Rankings cover a total of 51 subjects, grouped into five broad subject areas. Of the 41 subjects ranked this year, NTU has 9 subjects in the world's Top 50, and 36 subjects within the world's Top 100.
The 9 subjects ranked in Top 50 are Classics & Ancient History (24th), Modern Languages (36th), Engineering - Civil & Structural (38th), Anatomy & Physiology (42nd), Linguistics (42nd), Linguistics (42nd), Medicine (46th), Nursing (47th), Engineering - Electrical (48th), Materials Science (50th). Among these 9 subjects ranked in Top 50, 4 of which returned to the ranking of Top 50 this year, including Anatomy & Physiology, Nursing, Engineering - Electrical, and Materials Science.
