On the 7th of December, President Seoung Hwan Suh of Yonsei University, accompanied by a distinguished delegation including Vice President for University Planning and Development Kabsung Kim, Vice President for External Affairs and Development Heejun Park, among others, were warmly hosted by President Wen-Chang Chen, Vice President for International Affairs Hsiao-Wei Yuan, and members of Centre for NTU’s Center for Quantum Science and Engineering (CQSE).
The purpose of their visit was to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NTU’s Centre for Quantum Science and Engineering (CQSE) and Yonsei University’s Institute of Quantum Information Technology. Building on a trilateral MoU previously signed on Quantum Computing with Keio University of Japan, Yonsei University has strategically identified NTU’s CQSE as a key partner, expressing a keen interest in forming a bilateral partnership. The Signing Ceremony of this bilateral MoU marks the initial step in establishing a strong collaboration that will strengthen scientific advancements, facilitate knowledge exchange, and generate innovative solutions to global challenges in the field of quantum science and engineering.

Both President Chen and President Suh expressed high hopes for the collaborative partnership, foreseeing groundbreaking discoveries, technological advancements, and a transformative impact on the landscape of quantum research and development.
